fahnipiles is a non-medical boarding house. We provide personal, daily assistance — help with routines, meals, housekeeping, and activities — but we are not a medical facility and do not provide nursing or clinical care. Residents who require medical attention continue to access healthcare services in Thalang and Phuket as they would normally.
Can families visit residents at any time?
Yes — family visits are very welcome, and we ask only that they are arranged in advance so residents are comfortable and the visit suits their daily rhythm. We have space in the garden and on the terrace for families to sit together, and the kitchen can usually accommodate an extra lunch with a little notice.

fahnipiles is an English-speaking household, and all staff communicate comfortably in English. The property is in Thalang, which has a long-established international community, and many nearby services — including healthcare — are accessible in English. Residents from outside Thailand have settled here without difficulty.
How much notice is required to move in or leave?
We ask for 30 days' notice for departure, which gives both the resident and the house time to plan properly. For arrivals, we encourage families to contact us as early as possible — rooms do not remain available indefinitely, particularly the private suites.
